The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales is assisting Neath Port Talbot local authority in their plan to erradicate Himalayan balsam from the Afan Valley and here is an interview with a few enthusiastic volunteers involved with the project.

This is the first of the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales' podcasts which will be coming to you from all around our patch. This particular podcast comes from Skokholm Island after a visit there from our funders, sponsors and volunteers. The Wildlife Trust owns the island and manages its slightly more famous neighbour of Skomer. We hope you enjoy this podcast (we are learning to use the equipment so there are a couple of small glitches - we hope you enjoy it nonetheless)

This podcast is from our West Williamston Nature Reserve in Pembrokeshire. This is one of the best reserves in Wales for brown hairstreak butterfly which is increasingly rare. This podcast features interviews with volunteers and the member of staff responsible for looking after this reserve.
